DINGS' Korea Introduces High-Precision Voice Coil Stage Solution 'INV Series'

DINGS' Korea, a specialist in precision motion solutions, announced the launch of its high-precision Voice Coil Stage 'INV Series,' co-developed with INNOTRO, aiming to expand its presence in the precision linear motion market.

In recent years, the precision automation equipment market has seen rapidly growing demand for Direct Drive-based linear stages that can simultaneously deliver micron-level positioning accuracy and fast response. Applications such as inspection, alignment, high-speed handling, and optical module assembly require structures that minimize mechanical transmission errors while enabling high-speed and high-precision control.

The INV Series is a high-precision Voice Coil Stage solution developed to meet these demands. It combines DINGS' Flat Type Voice Coil Motor technology with INNOTRO's precision stage design expertise. By adopting a Voice Coil-based Direct Drive structure, the system minimizes mechanical transmission components, enabling low-friction and low-vibration operation. This results in fast response, stable positioning, short settling time, and smooth micro-motion performance — optimized for high-speed, high-precision control environments.

The flagship model, INV76, offers a 20 mm stroke, continuous force of 3.84 N, and peak force of 11.5 N. It supports an encoder resolution of 0.1 μm, repeatability of ±0.5 μm, and straightness and flatness of ±2.5 μm. These specifications make it well-suited for applications requiring both precise positioning and consistent repeatability.

The INV Series is applicable across a wide range of industries, including semiconductors, electronics, optical alignment, biotechnology, medical devices, and precision manufacturing. Typical applications include wafer inspection, camera module inspection, pathology slide scanning, high-speed assembly, and precision positioning systems.

Following the INV76, DINGS' Korea is preparing to launch the next model, INV97, further expanding the Voice Coil Stage lineup.
