Coreless Push Rod Actuator

Precision Torque Control Through Gear Reduction

The Coreless Push Rod Actuator integrates a precision planetary Gearbox to convert high-speed motor characteristics into stable torque output. Stable torque transmission is maintained even in low-speed ranges, while low-backlash transmission characteristics complete the integrated Motor-Gear-Linear structure.

Precision Planetary Gear

Integrated Motion Structure for Ultra-Compact Precision Design

The motor, Gearbox, and linear drive are designed as an integrated motion structure rather than a simple combination of components. This approach reduces installation space while improving precision and reliability, providing an optimized motion solution for compact precision automation equipment.

DINGS' launches Coreless Push Rod Actuator with Precision Planetary Gearbox

Demand for ultra-compact linear motion solutions is rapidly increasing across semiconductor, display, robotics, medical, and precision automation industries. As equipment continues to become smaller and more sophisticated, the need for actuators that can simultaneously deliver precise positioning control and stable drive performance is also growing.

In response to this trend, precision motion solution provider DINGS' announced that it has strengthened its ultra-compact linear motion portfolio centered on the Coreless Push Rod Actuator, while expanding drive performance and application range by integrating a Precision Planetary Gearbox (PGX series).

The Coreless Push Rod Actuator incorporates a slotless coreless motor structure, which minimizes cogging torque and enables low-vibration, low-noise linear motion. The actuator is available in compact diameters of 10, 12, 16, and 22 mm, and adopts a lead-screw-based push-rod mechanism that delivers stable thrust and repeatable positioning accuracy within a highly compact form factor. These characteristics make it well suited for applications requiring precise linear motion, such as small robotics, medical devices, optical systems, and inspection equipment.

By integrating the precision planetary gearbox series, the actuator can utilize the high-speed rotational characteristics of the coreless motor more efficiently. The gearbox allows stable torque transmission even in low-speed operating ranges, while improving control stability and overall system reliability.

The precision planetary gearbox features a compact structure combined with high power density, and with its low backlash and stable transmission characteristics, it is widely used as a reduction solution for various actuator systems. Another key advantage is that the Coreless Push Rod Actuator enables an integrated design approach covering motor, reduction, and linear drive within a single system architecture.

“By launching the Coreless Push Rod Actuator series equipped with precision planetary gearboxes, we are able to provide more stable and flexible design options in the ultra-compact linear motion field,” said a representative from DINGS'. “Going forward, we will continue expanding integrated motion solutions based on synergy between our core components.”

Meanwhile, DINGS' showcased the Coreless Push Rod Actuator and precision planetary gearboxes at AW 2026 and KIMES 2026, held at COEX in March. Along with these products, the company introduced a range of motion solutions applicable to semiconductor, robotics, medical, and precision automation markets, demonstrating their versatility and the competitiveness of DINGS’ integrated motion solutions.
